FARM COOKIES

2 cups flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup butter, softened

3/4 cup packed brown sugar

3/4 cup granulated sugar

2 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups quick-cooking rolled oats

2 cups corn flakes

1 cup flaked coconut

1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; stir to mix well. Set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, beat butter. Add brown sugar and granulated sugar; beat until fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Add flour mixture; beat until well combined.

Stir in rolled oats, corn flakes, coconut and nuts. Roll dough into 1-inch balls. Place balls on an ungreased baking sheet; flatten slightly.

Bake 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned at 375 degrees. Place on wire racks to cool.
